Submit devices

Testing purposes

You can submit up to 30 devices per account for testing purposes.

  1. On the Knox Customization Configurator portal, go to Devices > Actions > Upload devices.
  2. Select These devices will be used for testing purposes.
  3. Under Proof of purchase, upload a Purchase Order or images displaying the IMEI/Serial number(s) of the test devices. To find the device IMEI or Serial number, go to Settings > About device > Status > IMEI information or Serial number.
  4. Assign tags to your device(s). Click Add/Remove tags to edit the existing list of tags.
  5. Add device information:
    • If you are submitting devices in bulk, select Add multiple devices using CSV list and Select the device list file to upload.
    • If you are adding a single device, select Add single device using IMEI/serial number and enter the information in the field below.
  6. Confirm that you own the devices you are submitting and click Upload.

Commercial deployment

  1. On the Knox Customization Configurator portal, go to Devices > Actions > Upload devices.
  2. Under Proof of purchase, select the Date of purchase, enter a description, and select the Purchase order documentation to prove device ownership.

    NOTE — Providing Proof of Purchase doesn't automatically guarantee device verification. Samsung Administrators review the entire customization profile before verifying devices.

  3. Assign tags to your device(s). Click Add/Remove tags to edit the existing list of tags.
  4.  Add device information:
    • If you are submitting devices in bulk, select Add multiple devices using CSV list and Select the device list file to upload.
    • If you are adding a single device, select Add single device using IMEI/serial number and enter the information in the field below.
  5. Confirm that you own the devices you are submitting and click Upload.
  6. Samsung Administrators compare the data from your Proof of Purchase with data from the Proof of Sale provided by the Knox Customization Configurator Authorized Device Channel from which you purchased the devices to confirm the ownership of devices.
  7. If both sets of data match, devices will be marked as Waiting for Customization and you can begin pushing configurations. If the profile includes Customer Terms, the end customer must accept those Customer Terms before the profile is pushed to the devices.
