Device settings

  • Set locale — Select the language and country for the device.
  • Set the timezone
  • Hide Settings menu / elements — Hide the following options from the device settings:
    • All (Bluetooth, Location, Wi-Fi)
    • Bluetooth
    • Location
    • Wi-Fi
  • Automatic Time Update — Set the device to automatically updates its time and date information from the network.
  • Other
    • Disable Software Updates — Prevent the user from manually downloading and installing software updates.
    • Disable factory reset
    • Disable device power off for users
  • Disable hardware keys — Turn off the functionality for all hardware keys or select the Volume up or Volume down buttons.
  • Power — Hide the following options from the dialog that appears when the user long presses the power button:
    • Power off
    • Restart

NOTE — Safe mode is disabled by default in ProKiosk mode.
